Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. My Little Firecracker!

In this tutorial I used the tube “American Girl 3”
from


Verymany.


The tube is available at

The kit is “My Little Firecracker” from


Doodle by Design

Font of choice.














I used a drop
shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75,blur 10.








Open a new transparent
canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.





Paste element 121
and move a little to the left.





Paste element 112, resize
90%, move up and position towards the top of element 121, duplicate and move
this copy down and to the right a little, apply the shadow to each.





Paste element 114, position
and apply the shadow.





Paste frame 5 and
resize 50%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by
20, make a new layer below it and paste paper 6 into the selection, paste the
full size tube, resize 80% and move into place, invert the selection and hit
delete, apply the shadow to the frame and change the blend mode on the tube to “hard
light”, merge the tube down onto the paper and then the merge the element down.





Paste element 5, resize
50%, position below the merged layer and apply the shadow.





Paste element 7,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 25,
resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 49,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 53,
resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 31,
resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 17 on
the top, resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste wordart 7,
resize 45%,  select all, float and
defloat, make a new layer below the element and fill the selection with the
colour white, deselect, merge the element down onto the white layer, apply the
shadow and move into place.





Paste element 128,
resize 70%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 8,
resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste the tube
again, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 66, resize
18%, position below the tube and apply the shadow.





Paste element 59,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 101,
resize 60%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 62, resize
17%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 64,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 65, resize
22% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 12,
resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 36, resized
17%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 29,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 50,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 42,
resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 38,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 14 on
the top, resize 7%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 30,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 9, resize
20%, position and apply the shadow.

resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 46, resize
20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 113,
resize 70% and move into place.ce.





Check your layers
and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information
and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
