About me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube “Cold Drink”
from

Verymany.

This pretty tube can be purchased at

The kit is “Enjoying Life” from

Bella Caribeña

and is available for purchase at

You will need png mask 348 from

and my mask

 0032.

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow
of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 15.

Open a new transparent
canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer,
select all, paste paper 9 into the selection, open my mask and mirror it then
apply to the paper and resize 90%.

Paste Mizteeques mask,
select all, float and defloat, make a new layer and paste paper 4 into the selection,
deselect, duplicate, merge the copy down onto the original, move the mask over
to the right and erase the part that shows on the left half of the first mask.

Paste element 73,
resize 50%, position towards the top, duplicate, resize the copy another 80%
and move down and to the right very slightly and apply the shadow to each.

Paste element 22, resize
35%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 126, resize
30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 59,
resize 60%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 91,
resize 70%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 17,
resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 110,
resize 55%, position below element 91 erasing the part that shows to the left
of the door and apply the shadow.

Paste element 32,
resize 35%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 95, resize
35%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 94, resize
15% and mirror, position above element 91and apply the shadow.

Paste element 81,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 46, resize 8%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 67,
resize 8% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 66, resize
30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 120,
resize 20% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste the tube, resize
27%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 87, resize
8%, duplicate, mirror one copy, position and apply the shadow to each.

Paste element 62,
resize 50%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 70, resize
60%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 51,
resize 70%, position this element at the bottom of your tag right down in the
layers so its just above the masks and apply the shadow.

Paste element 150 back on the top, resize
4%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 3, resize
7% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 153,
resize 5%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste
element 161, resize 60%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 109,
resize 45%, position below element 161 and apply the shadow.

Paste element 51 again,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 151, resize
15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 123 on
the top, resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 64, resize
15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 128,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 98,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 52,
resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 133,
resize 8%, position and apply the shadow.

Check your layers and
make any adjustments (I took a brown colour from the path and recoloured my
mask below it to merge it in better).

Paste element 50,
resize 30%, position on the pool below the dog, apply the shadow with the box “shadow
on a new layer” checked then erase the part of it on the reflection bit.

Paste element 139, resize 18%, position
and apply the shadow, again erase the shadow around the water part then lower
the opacity of your eraser to 20 and dab it around the water bit itself to
blend it right into the pool.

When you are all done,
add your copyright and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
