Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Spring Elegance

In this tutorial I used the tube "Balminess of Spring"
from
Verymany.
This is a lovely tube and can be purchased at

You will find the

You will need png mask 361 from

Font of choice.

 


I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 35, blur 10.

 

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper
1 into the selection, deselect, resize 85%, duplicate and merge the copy down
onto the original.

Paste element 108, resize 70%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 76, resize 70% and erase the stalk, duplicate, move the two
copies into place and apply the shadow to each.

Paste frame 6, mirror, resize 40% and rotate 10 degrees to the right,
position and apply the shadow.

Paste frame 5 and resize 35%, select the interior with your magic wand and
expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and paste paper 3 into the
selection, deselect, apply the shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper
and move into place.

Paste the tube, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 33, resize 50%, position below the two heart elements and apply
the shadow.

Paste element 14, resize 90% and position between the two heart elements.

Paste element 79, resize 15%, position on the left and apply the shadow.

Paste element 35, resize 60%, position above both hearts and apply the
shadow.

Paste element 85, resize 33%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 17, resize 15%, position below element 85 and apply the
shadow.

Paste element 10, resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 31 below the tube, resize 15%, position and apply the
shadow.

Paste element 46, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 123, resize 60% and position.

Paste element 5, resize 18% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, postion above
the netting on the white heart and apply the shadow.

Wild Flowers

Font of choice.














I used a drop shadow of
vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 55, blur 10.








Open a new transparent
canvas 650 by 800 and fill with white.





Paste mask 1, resize 95%
and move up a little.





Make a new layer and
fill with colour #291f19, select all, float and defloat the mask, go back to
the coloured layer, invert the selection and hit delete, deselect and delete
the original black mask layer.





Paste element 134, resize
90% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 82,
resize 75%, position and apply the shadow.7





Paste the tube, resize
27%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 99 and resize
it 60%, select the interior of the open part with your magic wand and expend
the selection by 10, make a new layer below it, paste paper 3 into the
selection, deselect, apply the shadow to the element, merge it down onto the
paper and position behind the tube.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 60, blur 15.








Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.





Paste the mask, resize 40%, select all, float and defloat it, make a new layer, paste paper 9  into the selection, deselect, delete the original black mask layer and move the paper one up and to the left.





Paste element  175, resize 60% and move into place.





Paste element 86, resize 95%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  84, resize 80% and position on the left behind the waterfall, duplicate, bring the copy to the top, resize 60% and duplicate again, position both copies at the front, duplicate again, resize this copy another 80%, mirror it and position at the front, apply the drop shadow to each.





Paste element  161 and position behind the waterfall.





Paste element  45, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element 124, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  116, resize 40% and position on the left below the waterfall, duplicate twice and position both these copies behind the three mounds of grass at the front, apply the drop shadow to each.





Paste element 25 above the waterfall, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
