Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. The Traveller

In this tutorial I used the lovely tube “Finch”
from


Nocturne.


The tube is available at

The kit is “Traveller”,


another beautiful freebie kit from


MizTeeque’s Digital Designs.





You will need my mask


0082.




















I used a drop shadow
of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.











Open a new transparent
canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.








Paste the mask, resize
80%, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, past paper 1 into the
selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.





Paste element 89,
resize 55%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 87 and
resize 80%, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 1 into
the selection, deselect, change the blend mode on the paper to “Hard Light”,
merge it down onto the element, apply the shadow and move into place.





Paste element 23, resize
40%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 36,
resize 80%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 42, resize
30%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 34,
resize 50%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 13, resize
55%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste the tube, resize
22%, position and apply the shadow.

20% position below the tube and apply the shadow.

55% and move into place.





Check your layers and
make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and
text and export on a transparent background as a png.
