About me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Just Magic!

In this tutorial I used the lovely tube “Ann”
from


Misticheskaya.

You will need png mask 347 from


Mizteeque’s Digital Designs.





Font of choice.




















I used a drop shadow
of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 15.











Open a new transparent
canvas 700 by 800 pixels and fill with white.





Paste Mizteeque’s mask,
select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 9 into the
selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.





Paste the yellow spray
element (last one before the frames), resize 80% and move into place.





Paste element 4,
resize 80% and move into place.





Paste element 21, resize
60%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 60,
resize 52%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 6, resize
40% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 69, resize
80%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 15,
resize 40% and using my tag as reference, position carefully beneath all the
trees.





Paste element 22, resize
70%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 67,
resize 80%, position and apply the shadow.

resize 85%, position and apply the shadow.

the top, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow, set the opacity on your
eraser to 30 and dab it around the top of the cords to blend them into the
tree.

Check your layers and
make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and
text and export on a transparent background as a png.
