About me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Ghoulishly Delightful!

In this tutorial I used the tube “Autumn
Witchcraft” from


Katharine.


This tube is available at


VM Artists store.





The kit is “Goulishly Delightful” from


Tiny Turtle Designs.


Another kit with some great Halloween elements

You will need hw17 mask by


Fecnikek.





Font of choice.











I used a drop shadow
of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.








Open a new transparent
canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.





Paste the mask and
resize it 23%, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 1
into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.





Paste element 33, resize
40%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 22, resize
60% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 41, resize
60%, position and apply the shadow

Check your layers and
make any adjustments (I used my pick tool on the mask to stretch it a bit
longer), then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export
on a transparent background as a png.
