Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Mad Hatter

In this tutorial I used the “Mad Hatter” from


Barbara Jensen.


This tube is the current bonus tube available
at


Barbara’s store.





The kit is “Colorless Alice” from


Karmalized Scraps.


The kit can also be purchased at

You will need masks 1 and 3from


Minja’s Digital Designs.





Font of choice.

















I used a drop
shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.








Open a new
transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.





Paste mask 1,
resize 85%, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 7 into
the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.





Paste mask 3,
resize 60%, mirror and repeat as for the first mask with the same paper.





Paste element 34,
resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 32,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 22,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste frame 4 and
resize 35%, select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by
5, make a new layer below the frame, open paper 5, mirror it and paste into the
selection, deselect, apply the shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the
paper, rotate 10 degrees to the left and move into place.





Paste element 41,
resize 45%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 4,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 27,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 6,
resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 18,
resize 45%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 9,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 2,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste spray 2.





Paste element 5,
resize 20% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 26,
resize 25% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 8,
resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste the tube,
resize 60% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 43
and resize 60%, select all, float and defloat, paste paper 7, resize the paper
also 60%, position it so the tiles are show in the selection, invert the selection
and hit delete, deselect, merge the paper down onto the original element, apply
the shadow and move into place.





Paste element 44,
resize 60%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 11,
resize 18%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 17,
resize 20% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 31,
resize 13%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 7, resize
15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 20,
resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 30,
resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 36,
resize 5%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 21,
resize 6%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 3,
resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 25,
resize 5%, position and apply the shadow.





Paste element 24,
resize 4%, position and apply the shadow.





Check your layers
and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information
and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
