In this tutorial I used the tube “Steampunk Violinist” from

Katharine

The tube comes with several colour options and can be purchased at

Verymany Artists store.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask, select all, float and defloat it, make a new layer, paste paper 8 into the selection and deselect. Duplicate, position the top copy top left, resize the bottom copy 90% and move down and to the right erasing the part of the bottom copy that overlaps in the bottom right hand corner and the small bit at the top on the right (you can skip that bit for now and do it later when you have your elements in place).

Paste bannister, resize 65%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste bird 2, resize 25%, position behind the bannister and apply the shadow.

Paste clock 4 on the top, resize 50%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste gear 15, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste cluster 2, resize 60%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste deco 7, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste clock, resize 35%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste flower 2, resize 60%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste candle, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste mask, resize 35% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, position and apply the shadow.

Paste hydrant, resize 40%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste flower 6, resize 40% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, position and apply the shadow.

Paste flower 10, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste violin 3, resize 25% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, position and apply the shadow.

Paste hands, resize 55%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste wing, resize 65%, position and apply the shadow.

Make a new layer and fill with white. Paste the wordart and resize it 30%, select all, float and defloat, expand the selection by 1, invert it and hit delete on the white layer, deselect, duplicate the white layer, merge the wordart down onto each white layer, position and apply the shadow,.

Paste glasses, resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste key 2, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste music sheet 2, resize 25% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste deco 5, resize 50%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 22%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste gear 12, resize 35%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste trunk 3, resize 25%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste radio 1, resize 22%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste piano 1, resize 35% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste book 4, resize 18%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste bottle 2, resize 18%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste bottle 1, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste compass, resize 15%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste hat 1,  resize 18% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste flower 14, resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste snail, resize 18% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste box, resize 20%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste flower 9, resize 12%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste binoculars, resize 17%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste clock k3, resize 10%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste skunk, resize 30%, position and apply the shadow.

Check your layers and
make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and
text and export on a transparent background as a png.
