About me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I used the tube/kit

“Stop Violence”

Comprising kit from

Bella Caribeña

with tube in two colour options from

SheoKate Elegance.

This package can be purchased at

You will need mask 1 from

Open a new transparent
canvas 750 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Paste mask 2 from the
kit, resize 95%, mirror and move up and to the right.

Paste  Minja’s mask, resize 75% and mirror, select
all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 2 into the selection,
deselect and the original black mask layer.

Paste element 111,
resize 70%, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 78,
resize 40% and mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste FMs 3, resize
70%, select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the
selection by 20, make a new layer below it, paste paper 9 into the selection,
deselect, apply the shadow to the element, merge it down onto the paper and
move into place.

Paste element 55,
resize 80% and move into place.

Paste element 82,
resize75%, mirror, position and apply the shadow.

Paste element 117,
resize 35% and apply the shadow, draw a freehand selection around the wolf’s
head and front legs as in my screenshot below, hit delete, deselect, right
clock on your canvas go to “paste as a new layer” and the section of the wolf
you deleted will paste.  Join the two
pieces of wolf up with the body part below element 82 and the head and front
legs above that element.

Paste element 113
between element 82 and the wolf head and legs, resize 40%, position and apply
the shadow.

Paste element 3,
resize 80% and move into place.

Paste one of the tubes.
