About me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Milana

In this tutorial I used the lovely “Milana” from


Alex Prihodko.


The tube comes with several colour options for the
jack


and can be purchased at


VM Artists store.





The matching kit “Milana” is from

You will need vintage stamp 2 from


Minja Designs


and my png mask


0022.





Font of choice.














I used a drop shadow of
vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.








Open a new transparent
canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.





Paste Minja’s stamp,
resize 25%, select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 8 into
the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.





Paste my mask, resize 95%,
again, select all, float, defloat, make a new layer, past paper 13 into the
selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.





Paste element  77 and resize 50%.   Select the interior of the element and
expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below the element and fill with
black.   Paste the full size tube, resize
90% and position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete.  Paste paper 13, resize 25% and set the blend
mode to “Hard Light”, position in the frame and again hit delete,
deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the
frame.  Close off the background and mask
layers, merge visible and reopen the closed layers .





Paste the tube, resize
30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  12 below the merged layer, resize 55% and
mirror, move down and to the right.  Paste
the element again, resize 60%, mirror and flip, position on the left and apply
the drop shadow to each.





Paste element  73, resize 50%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  60, resize 65%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  103, resize 55%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  55, resize 25%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  78 above the merged layer, resize 35% and
mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  53, resize 17%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  28, resize 15%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  42, resize 25%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  39, resize 17% and rotate 30 degrees to the
left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  11, resize 30%, position at the bottom on the
right and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  124, resize 25%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  24, resize 30%, erase the stalks, place in
position and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  3, resize 20%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.





Paste element  48, resize 35%, duplicate, place in position
and apply the drop shadow to each.





Paste element  22 on the top, resize 15%, place in position
and apply the drop shadow.





Paste element  115, resize 15%, place in position and apply

Paste element  8, resize 20%, place in position and apply

any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text
and export on a transparent background as a png.
